'04 Red Retro
Here are a couple of pics of my new 2004 vtx 1300. I recently returned from
Afghanistan and decided to treat my self to a new bike. I have owned it for
about a month and have put on over 1500 miles. So for I have put on Cobra drag
pipes, a memphis slim windshield, and a new Mustang seat(not shown). The
original seat was very uncomfortable on long rides. I have on order a Thunder
teardrop air kit w/jets, a lidby highway bar.

"Big
Dipper"s Kentucky Orange VTX
1300
Serial number #1421

Specs.
I have custom built highway pegs, polished aluminum and a nice set of
pegs. I have the deluxe Honda backrest and carrier, added passenger
floorboards that have the "live to ride and ride to live" in detail
raised chrome on the underside that is displayed when they are folded up.
Sd4000 bags. Maier Windshield, cutom built mirrors and a custom radiator
cover. I am now in the process of making a set of drag pipes for
prototype. I took the baffles out of the stock pipes but I am not
satisfied. I will custom build mine and have them chromed for that one of
a kind feel.
Big Dipper (AKA Mark Price) also, wanted to
let fellow VTX owners know that he can make custom
accessories for your VTX:
I will take
orders on custom accessories , you tell me what you want I will Prototype 1
part to see if it is possible and then submit a photo , specs , etc. to the
person requesting the part and make a quote. I currently have 400 1/4"
chrome skull studs for leather accessories , no special tools required ,
insert into leather and secure with a cinch ring. I had these made by a friend
of mine in Great Britian. anyone interested can contact me at :markprice@peoplepc.com

Pia's
Red 1300

Pia's husband sent me this nice story to
go with the pictures of her bike:
Here is some pics of my wifes VTX 1300 She has
only been riding for about 2.5 years when I met her she dreamed of riding a bike
she even bought a 86 Honda Shadow 500 the bike was sitting in a garage because
it did not run. So after I fixed it I taught her to ride. One day we went for a
ride and she ran off the road and busted her ASS!!! but she got back on and rode
it home I just put a windshiled on the bike and it was history!!! I told her if
she did not drop the bike for 3 months I would buy her a new windshiled. Well
she did not drop it and I got her a new windshiled mounted on a new 2001 Honda
Shadow 750 Spirit! she rode it for a year then was at the honda shop hopping on
bike and fell in love with the VTX 1300 so I traded the Shadow for the VTX 1300
she did not think she could ride it she is 5"4 but she is doing fine! These
are the only pics I can send you because I don't have a scaner but so far I have
opened up the exhaust did the chrome on the lip of the tank played with the carb.
put a honda rack where the rear seat was and put a mephisshades sheild but it is
the smaller sheil not the fats don't remember what is is called but I had to cut
out the headlight bigger
PIX OF "CRAZY PIA" and the WEENIE!

Mr.
Conley's VTX 1300

The bike is currently going through some changes. We are re-building the back
fender, chrome plating the forks, brakes, trees, and several other parts. We are
also building new handlebars, lowering it, and some of our other tricks as
usual. You can track the progress on our website. www.coyotecustoms.com

Gumbo's
VTX
Nothing is done yet as far as mods since I started
to disassemble it. Can we say that it will be bad ass when I am done! A little
about me. I am the state coordinator for Louisiana X Riders association. We have
a really great group and am looking forward to more rides. I love the rumble of
the X! As soon as we have our site up, I will send you a link.

The
"Flying Dutchman's" VTX
Eventhough
the name implies that I am Dutch--this is not true, I am from Belgium and living
in Florida. Six months ago my wife talked me into to buying a bike. I hadn't
ridden before and was looking at the 750's. She said no--get a big bike and
within a week we bought the 1300. I didn't have a license so my neighbor had to
bring it home for me and I had to go to school. Now we are riding every week
with a group consisting of 2 Harley RoadKings 1 VTX1800 and 1 VTX1300. I have
added alot of things to the bike. Custom pipes that are loud and look the same
as the originals--I couldn't wait for the manufacturer,as well as windshield,
floorboards, new pegs and grips. We are now waiting for the highway bar to ship

Thanks to all that submitted their bikes!
